Houston based Integral Power, LLC is a project developer and consultant that strives to create win-win opportunities for both industry and the environment. Our mission is to develop and support projects that recycle the energy in existing waste streams into cost effective, green electricity and steam. This approach has focused the company on unique waste-to-energy opportunities and thermally integrated CHP projects within existing industrial facilities.
In addition to greenfield development, Integral Power has unique experience and capabilities for evaluating, acquiring and re-deploying existing facilities and equipment. We particularly seek opportunities that have a brownfield component, such as useful existing infrastructure, existing permits, interconnection agreements, or stranded equipment assets that can be re-deployed either on-site or in another project.
Ray Deyoe, Managing Director
A Texas A&M chemical engineer, Ray Deyoe has twenty six years of experience in project development, operations management, project engineering and related industrial equipment sales in the power industry. Ray has worked on a wide spectrum of applications including industrial waste heat recovery, gas turbine combined cycle, cogeneration, solid fuels gasification and advanced reciprocating engines. From 2006-2016, Ray served as Chairman of the Texas Combined Heat and Power Initiative, a non-profit association that championed combined heat and power as the most effective energy option for the state. Ray also serves on the Board of Directors for the Heat is Power Association, a non-profit coalition of developers, OEMs and related companies committed to educating decision makers and the public about the characteristics of waste heat-to-power as a source for emission-free electricity and an economic driver for global competitiveness.
Ray co-founded Integral Power in 2000 and is involved in every aspect of the company, including marketing, project identification, feasibility analyses, commercial negotiations, EPC execution and ongoing operations. Ray serves as a Managing Partner of Port Arthur Steam Energy LP, a 45MW (equivalent) waste heat recovery project in Port Arthur, Texas that was developed by Integral Power and achieved commercial operation in 2005.
Ted Boriack, Managing Director
A Texas A&M electrical engineer, Ted Boriack is a Texas professional engineer, holds an MBA and has thirty years of energy industry experience. Ted spent his early career as an electrical engineer in the electric utility industry working in system design and construction, and operations and maintenance. Transitioning to the refining industry, Ted held various posts in the areas of electrical engineering, project management, utility system reliability, strategic planning, power contract management and cogeneration. Ted has served as Chairman of the Corpus Christi Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
A co-founder of Integral Power, Ted is involved in all aspects of developing and managing industrial-based combined heat and power projects. Activities include project feasibility, optimization of project configurations, economic modeling and budgeting, engineering and construction, accounting and audit administration, contract administration and management of day-to-day operations. Ted serves as a Managing Partner of Port Arthur Steam Energy LP, a 45MW (equivalent) waste heat recovery project in Port Arthur, Texas that was developed by Integral Power and achieved commercial operation in 2005.
