Integral Power takes pride in a hands-on approach to our projects. We take an active role in managing projects from EPC execution through long term operations and maintenance. This aligns incentives with our financial partners to produce an asset that has the highest long term value and return on investment.
Our Port Arthur Steam Energy (PASE) project, located in Southeast Texas, had been mothballed for 5 years in Texas gulf coast conditions when Integral Power partnered with American Industrial Partners to acquire and bring it back to life in 2005. IP developed the project from conception and managed the EPC, serving as our own general contractor and building an on-site execution team to oversee approximately 40 specialized sub-contractors. The end result was a significant savings in capex and schedule.
Fast forward 13 years, and IP still serves as the managing partner for this successful venture, which recovers 2000°F kiln waste heat to provide steam to a neighboring Valero refinery and power to the industrial host and Entergy Gulf States.
